Focus on the most challenging technical accounting issues for this multi billion dollar conglomerate. Strong performance will lead to continued career growth at HQ within Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Controllers dept, or Senior Financial positions at operating company levels. Focus of this position will include wide range of issues related to; pronouncement analysis, accounting policy, interpreting and applying accounting standards related to SEC reporting and IRFS standards.

Highlights Include:

Accounting treatment of funding activities and wide range of financial instruments including asset based securitizations.
Derivatives
Hedge Accounting
Securitization Accounting
Accounting related to currency and commodity hedging strategies and the accounting for interest rate swaps, foreign exchange forwards, swaps, and options.
Work closely with international leaders to comply with their local accounting requirements for financial instruments that may differ from IRFS standards.
Maintain accounting processes and controls for investments, commercial paper, medium term notes, derivatives, and asset backed securitizations.
Coordinate the Treasury Department’s input into the Company’s quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K reporting.
Answer technical accounting questions related to financial instruments for corporate and unit personnel, and coordinate with internal and external auditors related to the firm’s accounting policies.
