Boys Town is a beacon of hope for Americas children and families through its life-changing youth and health care programs across the United States. The 90-year old organization is embarking on a new mission to affect change in the puzzling child care system by building a continuum of care to provide the right services at the right time based on a childs or familys needs. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Principal Gift Officer to manage a portfolio of donor prospects and acquire the financial support necessary to implement the strategic plan of Boys Town. The selected candidate will design and implement a comprehensive fund raising strategy to upgrade, renew, and increase giving to the organization. S/he will cultivate new and existing relationships with donor prospects through a process of identification, solicitation, and stewardship through direct donor contact and face-to-face visits. Finally, the candidate will maintain appropriate records on prospects/donors and record all fund raising activities on approved software.
