Peer Support Specialist
Community Alliance is accepting applications for additional, new Peer Support Specialist positions. Peer Support Specialists will work as part of a collaborative team to provide assistance and supports to persons newly entering services at Community Alliance and/or persons already involved in services who could benefit from the additional tools and supports that a peer can offer. A Peer Support Specialist contributes his/her life experiences, perspective, knowledge, skills and judgment to welcome and engage individuals in their own recovery, provide outreach, serve as an advocate, offer information about peer and community resources, and help in the formation of an individualized service plan and/or WRAP plan.
Peer Support Specialists at Community Alliance are self-identified as a current or former recipient of professional behavioral health services which has led toward recovery from a mental illness and/or co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorder. You must specifically address that you meet this minimum qualification at the time of application to be considered.
Multiple positions are available; full-and part-time applicants will be considered.

Wages & Benefits: Wages are based on education and training, and are competitive with similar positions in the field. Benefits are available for employees regularly scheduled to work 32 hours a week or more.
